Um Segundo Filmes was founded in 1998 and operates in the areas of Cinema, Television, and Advertising.


In cinema, they produced the films "Mulher.Mar" (2012) by Filipe Pinto and Pedro Pinto; "Carga" (2017) by Luís Campos; and "Sheila" (2018) by Gonçalo Loureiro. They also produced the documentary "Quem é Bárbara Virgínia?" by Luisa Sequeira. The film "Entre Sombras" (2018) by Alice Guimarães and Mónica Santos received international recognition with positive reviews and awards, including a nomination at the César Awards in French Cinema for Best Animated Short.


In television, notable programs include "Fotograma," a weekly program about film production in the Portuguese language broadcast on RTP for over three years; "As Novas Viagens Philosophicas," a series of 13 documentaries aired weekly on RTP1, following the work and research of Portuguese biologists worldwide; and "100% Moda Portugal," a program about best practices in the textile, clothing, and fashion industry, hosted by Raquel Strada and broadcast weekly on SIC Notícias.


Um Segundo Filmes also dedicates itself to the production of advertising, documentaries, and corporate films. Located in the heart of Porto city with excellent access, the studio offers 70m2, allowing for quick transformations between the Chroma Key cyclorama (Green and/or Blue) or White backgrounds. It is equipped with lighting grid and has a ceiling height of 7m.

Available for rent for short or long periods, with the convenience of integrated rental of various equipment, including a multicam recording and transmission system, facilitating live streaming of events, debates, meetings, concerts, interviews, or online product presentations.

Perfect for the production of advertising films, fiction, TV, streaming, or controlled environment photo sessions, adhering to all hygiene and safety conditions.
